Book Signing with Zellie Rainey Orr

Zellie Rainey Orr, veteran of the Civil Rights Movement and native of Holly Ridge, will be at the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 5:00 until 6:30 to sign her book, Heroes in War - Heroes at Home. The book about the Tuskegee Airmen and their service in World War II is subtitled “A Tribute to the ‘First’ Air Force Top Guns”.

Ms. Orr now lives in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated from Gentry High School in Indianola, and has gone on to be a pioneer in the insurance industry as well as a writer with many honors to her credit.

The book will be available for purchase in Lucille’s, the Museum gift shop.
